LED Safety Light

$ 11.95

If you have coyotes near your home it can be dangerous just letting your dog out at night to do their business. So that's a really good time to be using a vest and keeping a close eye out for trouble. But sometimes it can be difficult to know where your dog is in the dark -- unless they have some of these LED safety lights on -- then you will know exactly where they are. And if a coyote does appear there is a good chance they will hesitate before choosing to attack a bright light.

These quality LED safety lights were originally designed to be used as an armband for nighttime cycling or jogging. They are a little bit heavier (1.5oz) than our original LED flashers but they are more rugged and sealed in silicone rubber for water resistance. They attach to the CoyoteVest or SpikeVest with Velcro and you can put one on top of the vest or one on each side of the vest -- you can mix and match as you please. We include a separate piece of Velcro that makes it easy to hang the LED under the spike strips on the back of the vest. You can even use these with a HawkShield.

Available in four colors that light up brightly in the darkness, these safety lights use a simple push-button control that lets you choose from flashing or steady on. The LED is rated to operate for up to 96 hours with a set of replaceable watch batteries, and we include a second set of brand new batteries so you will have them ready when you need them.

The cutest badass in town

"We're in a pretty rural town in NH which means along with a nice assortment of predators (unfriendly dogs included) we also lack sidewalks. Having the hi-vis benefits of the bully vest plus the lights makes me feel loads better when we take our walks down the street. A pack of coyotes lives behind our house and with Peggy safely geared up means I'm less hesitant to let her enjoy the spring weather in our meadow. Due to her small size I started with a single coyote whisker and it delights me to no end seeing it waggle while we happily trot along."

peace of mind

"We were recently attacked by a pit bull while walking in our neighborhood. Luckily I reacted quickly without injuring my 7. 5 pound dog. This vest has give me extra security to keep him safe from larger aggressive dogs."

I love my vests with their flashing lights!

"I have seen and heard coyotes on the other side of my fence, so I really worry about letting my 12-pound chi-mixes out, especially for their last round of pee at night. I bought a vest for each and added the flashing light strips. This gives me so much peace of mind!"

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!

"I turn these on when walking them by sunrise and sunset as my black pug is hard to see at times. Love that it's attached to the vest!"

Great hiking getup for snack-sized doggos

"Duck is an ll lbs / 5kg skinny, lanky Chihuahua mix who loves hikes. Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own, he is snack-sized for most of nature's creatures. With the spiked & hawkshield-adorned Bully vest and collar combo, we can hike with far less concern. The anti-slip straps help keep it secured on him. He also likes to rock his cool Mad Max punk look out on the trail. Thanks Coyote vest!"

Love this product

"Our dog Bobo is an older dog and his vision is not super great. These lights not only help us see him at night but I feel like it helps him too."

Do not leave home without CoyoteVest

"I absolutely love the coyoteVest and gear! I would never let a small dog out of the house without one. I hear coyote’s almost every night and never leave home without it. My parents adopted a lil fur baby and we immediately ordered one for her. My dog sitter will not walk any of them without their coyoteVest .. too many times we have been run up on by big dogs off leash or escaped their owner .. and then there are the bird of pray and we have them all -hawks, owls, bald eagles, osprey … Life is just better with CoyoteVest!! Thank you CoyoteVest team!! and we love the new LED safety nights!!"

Q&A

Regarding the safety light strips. It says they attach with Velcro but how is the Velcro attached to the vest? Do you glue the Velcro to the side of the vest?

Hi I have a 15 pound Yorkie. I plan on ordering him the small coyote vest. Would the led safety light be too heavy? I don't want him uncomfortable. We live in Phoenix so trying to keep from weighing him down when it is hot. We live in an outlying area with a lot of bobcats and coyotes. Thanks!
Hi Sherry, Our vests literally weigh ounces, and all our accessories are meant to be light so fur babies can wear them with no issues. We have lots of small dogs wearing the LED light with no problems. We even have pee lights, which you can use and they're very small but effective if it's a major concern. CoyoteVest Team
