Easy Spikes are sold in packages of six. Simply order the number of packages you need to get the amount you need. 

In just minutes you can turn any ordinary collar into a spiked collar with Easy Spikes. You just fold the heavy-duty self-sticking wrap around the collar wherever you want a spike and it will remain firmly attached. You can attach the spikes side-by-side to create a custom collar or harness with exactly the number of spikes you want. The wrap works like Velcro and makes it easy to remove or re-position the spikes anytime you choose.

So if you want an everyday collar that is super comfortable and super easy to take on and off -- just like a normal nylon collar with a plastic snap buckle -- then convert that normal collar into a battle ready Coyote Collar! Each Easy Spike is 1" wide, so if the collar your dog is wearing right now is 12" long -- you can convert it into a Coyote Collar with 12 easy spikes -- by yourself in just a few minutes.

You can also use Easy Spikes anywhere you want extra protection. For example you can enhance throat protection by attaching Easy Spikes to the nylon collar that comes with the CoyoteVest. 

Each Easy Spike includes a 1" chrome-plated hard plastic spike attached to a 1" x 3" strip of heavy duty wrap that attaches like Velcro. The spike is lightweight, strong, and won't rust. The wrap is soft and comfortable yet sturdy enough to hold the spike firmly upright and long enough to fold around collars or straps up to 1" wide. For smaller width collars you just trim off the ends of the wrap with scissors.

"I have a medium sized Aussie and wasn't sure if the "pre-spiked" collars would fit, so I bought the Easy Spikes and an inexpensive collar to put them on. The collar is about 3/4" wide and the spikes fit perfectly. I bought enough to add a few to her harness. We have neighbors down the road with two very aggressive and large dogs who are randomly loose and these make me feel a bit more secure when out walking, although I do avoid going past their house. I got the extra collar because I can easily put that on her only for walks and she can wear her regular collar and harness everywhere else."

Cat mom, pleasantly surprised!

"I have 2 indoor/outdoor cats. Luckily there are no actual coyotes or large predators in the area. But we have a neighbor cat with a mean streak. We have been to the vet nearly 9x in the last three months due to bite wounds and puncture wounds around the head & chest area. Neighbor is unwilling to work out a solution with me. So I armed my cats with the Easy Spikes. I was concerned that the spikes would flip down and accidentally jab the wearer. But that hasn't happened! I was also worried that they'd be uncomfortable whenever the cat wants to lay down- also not an issue. I've seen my more energetic cat rolly-polly on the ground and the spikes on temporarily 'lay down' but then return to their upright position. I like that the Easy Spikes are modular. I was able to customize by own breakaway collar and position the spikes around a GPS tracker. I guess my only feedback is that I want more options for cats! It seems most things on this site are made specifically for dogs. While I'm sure you can try to put them on a cat, I sense they would be too cumbersome of restrictive on a cat. Cats basically do parkour when they are outside. They need their mobility, agility and flexibility to navigate all the terrain out there."

Impressed!

"I am very concerned for our dog’s safety as the number of coyotes continues to increase rapidly & their food supply dwindles. I’ve lived in the country over 50 years & now I seldom rabbits, opossums, armadillos, even skunks & raccoons are disappearing. But the coyotes are flourishing. Our dog is a Lab/Hound mix & it’s tough to convince him he’s in danger when he takes off bawling as the coyotes begin to howl. I didn’t worry quite so much until he recently lost his brother dog. Now he hunts alone. We had enormous Vet bill’s following our boy’s illness & I didn’t feel I could quite afford the coyote vest, but I did order the Velcro Spikes. I am very pleased. They attach easily & tightly bind to his daily collar, adding measure of protection for his throat. I will be ordering a full coyote vest as soon as possible. Our boy is still fast but at 10 years old, he needs all the protection I can afford."

Q&A

I had a huge hawk try to get my 9 in Yorkie mix yesterday. She was on the porch. What would the best things be to keep her safe. We have an electric fence that keeps the bears out. Who knew the sky was dangerous too! She ran inside so fast off the porch and I saw the huge hawk swoop back up. Thanks I just feel confused with all of the products.
